What is the DirectHoliday.eu portal for?
DirectHoliday is a web platform located at the web address https://www.directholiday.eu/ which serves for advertising and booking of private accommodation (rooms, studio apartments, apartments and holiday homes). The landlord pays for the publication of advertisements on the portal for his accommodation units in accordance with the valid Price List, without the obligation to pay any commission. Guests use the portal completely free of charge and contact the Landlord directly to book private accommodation.
Select Registration in the upper right corner of the page, which selection will take you to the registration form. After filling out the form, we will send a link to activate your account to your e-mail address. By clicking on the activation link, the registration process is completed and you can start advertising. Due to your mail account settings, your message may have ended up in spam. Payment for ad publication.
The duration of the advertisement and the price of the announcement are determined by the valid Price List. You can pay by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Receiving inquiries from guests.
After guests send you an inquiry via the mail contact form on your ad, you will receive a notification to the e-mail you left as a contact in the User Info. Guests can also contact you by telephone if you have left a telephone number.
How do I edit an ad?
If you want to change the ad, you need to click on the My Account option in the upper right corner of the page and select My Ads. Once your ads have opened on the film strip, click on the tag in the upper right corner of each ad (the tag contains three vertically placed points), and then select one of the following options:
- Edit where you can edit and correct your ad
- Delete where you can permanently delete your ad
- Rented where you can mark your accommodation unit as rented, which makes the ad no longer visible to guests. This ad can be reactivated an unlimited number of times during the ad period (or until the ad expires).
Tips for easier use.
Recommended browsers are Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and in order to successfully sell or rent your property, you need to put as many high-resolution photos as possible.
Contacting the landlord and booking.
If you like the accommodation, make a reservation directly by contacting the landlord by email via the contact form on each ad.
How to submit an ad?
After registering, select the Submit Ad option in the upper right corner of the page where you need to fill in the following information:
It is necessary to fill in all the required information under Personal Information. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required in accordance with positive legal regulations, and your data is processed in accordance with them.
Information about the accommodation unit and an overview of the information provided.
After filling in the Personal Information, click on Next Step, which will open a form in which you enter the details of your private accommodation. After filling in the required fields (marked with an asterisk *), you need to click on the Next step in the lower right corner, and then on the Overview page check that all the information is correct. By selecting the Save option in the lower right corner, your ad has been created and you need to make a payment for the ad publication.
How to add a photo?
You can add a photo by clicking on the box that says Select or insert the images you want to display, which will open a browser on your computer where you then select the photo and click “Open”. Another way to add photos is to left-click on a photo on your computer and drag it to the box that says Select or insert the images you want to display. It is mandatory to put at least one photo. The maximum size is 5MB. The site supports all standard photo formats.
The duration of the advertisement is prescribed by the valid Price List. On the day the ad expires, we’ll notify you by email when the ad expires. You can reactivate an expired ad from the My Ads menu.
How do I renew an ad?
If you want to renew your ad after the ad period has expired, you need to click on the My Account option in the upper right corner of the page and select My Ads. Once your ads have opened up on the film strip, click on the tag in the upper right corner of each ad (the tag contains three vertically placed points), select the Activate option.
If you want to save the ad, just click on the star on the ad.
